What I check in the first consult

The goal comes first. Then the plan and the timeline.

The first consult is where we decide what we’re working toward. Bring a goal if you have one. If you don’t, we’ll work on one together. If we can’t agree on a goal, we don’t begin.

I want to understand your starting point, the time you can commit, and what has made consistency difficult. You don’t need to make the answer impressive. It needs to be useful.

I assess the work and propose a timeline. All training is in person at Dave Fisher’s Gym, with a minimum commitment of sixteen weeks. We agree on frequency, payment schedule, and the plan before you start.

The consult is also your chance to decide whether this is how you want to be coached. If the answer is yes on both sides, we move.

General training and nutrition education, not medical advice or an individual treatment plan.

I read every answer. Tell me where you are and what you want to work toward.

Can you train in person for at least 16 weeks?

Keep it general. Please leave out diagnoses, medical records, or other sensitive details.
